The Aramean Syriac national football team is the official football team for the Aramean-Syriac people all over the world. They are not affiliated with FIFA or Asian Football Confederation, and therefore cannot compete for the FIFA World Cup or Asian Cup. A team representing the Aramean-Syriac people played in the 2008 VIVA World Cup reaching the final and losing it 2-0 against Padania.
