Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organisation (Public Organisation) (th: องค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก (องค์การมหาชน); RTGS: Ong Kan Borihan Chat Kan Kat Ruean Krachok (Ong Kan Mahachon)) or TGO (th: อบก.; RTGS: O-Bo-Ko.) is a Thai public organisation established by the Royal Decree on Establishment of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organisation (Public Organisation) BE 2550 (2007) having chief duties and powers in connection with the greenhouse gas emission in Thailand. History

Objectives of Establishment

Section 7 of the on Establishment of Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organisation (Public Organisation) BE 2550 (2007) prescribed the objectives in establishing the Organisation as follows:

(1) to analyse, scrutinise and collect views and opinions in relation to the approval of projects, as well as to pursue and appraise the authorised projects;

(2) to further the project advancement and the market of greenhouse gas quantity trading as approved;

(3) to be an information centre for circumstances on greenhouse gas operations;

(4) to make an information base about the authorised projects and the approved trading of greenhouse gas quantity; nevertheless, in accordance with the policy determined by the National Board and the Board;

(5) to further and enhance the efficiency as well as to give instructions to public agency and private body in the operations on greenhouse gas;

(6) to disseminate and do public relations campaign on the greenhouse gas management;

(7) to further and support the climate change operations.
