Nayapul is one of the oldest commercial suburbs of Hyderabad, India. This suburb gets it name after the bridge that was built during the time of the Nizams called as Nayapul because it was new, there already was another bridge called as Puaranapul. It is very close to the historic Charminar.

The famous Salar Jung Museum and AfzalGunj Mosque is located in this suburb.

Commercial area

Hotel Shadab at Madina cross roads

This is a major shopping center for the people of old city. It has a branch of ICICI Bank.

In the close by Madina area, there are some popular Hyderabadi restaurants like the Hotel Shadab, Nayaab Hotel and Hotel Madina which serves all the popular Hyderabadi dishes, they are very popular for their Hyderabadi haleem during the month of holy month of Ramzan. There is a udupi restaurant, Minerva located here.

Transport

The buses are run by APSRTC which connect it to all parts of the city.

The closest MMTS Train station is at Nampally.
