Saviours is an American stoner metal band. The band was formed in 2004 in Oakland, California. Since then, they have released two full-length albums and two EPs.

History

The band released their first EP, "Warship", in 2005 on Level Plane Records. They released their first full-length album, "Crucifire", on May 15, 2006 to critical acclaim. With the release of the album, "Prefix Magazine" called Saviours "the clear favorites to champion metal's return to prominence." [ [http://www.prefixmag.com/reviews/saviours/crucifire/15215/ Saviours: Crucifire ] ] In 2007, Saviours moved to Kemado Records where they released their second EP, "Cavern of Mind", and their second LP, "Into Abaddon", in 2008. Again, "Into Abaddon" gained praise from critics. "Treblezine" called it "Epic, enormous, and just plain "heavy"."
