Fifth Maritime Operational Group,Vice Admiral J.A.D. (Denis) Rouleau, OMM, CD, is an officer of the Canadian Forces . He was Vice Chief of the Defence Staff from 2008 until 2010, serving under General Walter Natynczyk. He was the previously Chief of Programme at DND.
Vice Admiral Rouleau became Vice Chief of the Defence Staff in the spring of 2008. In March 2010, the Minister of National Defence announced that Vice Admiral Rouleau would, in that year, be appointed Canadian military representative to NATO in Brussels. He was replaced as VCDS in July by Vice Admiral Bruce Donaldson, who was previously Commander of Canada Command.[1]
