Ontario ,Canada . The road is just north ofYork Regional Road 7 . It serves as aMain Street in Woodbridge, and is important to local tourism of Woodbridge. The road is home to many historical structures of Woodbridge, including the Nathaniel Wallace House, which was built in the 1800s.Road Description
The road starts off at Islington Avenue, shortly crosses over the Humber River, through the Woodbridge Central Business District. This stretch of the road consists of Woodbridge's most historical structures. West of Kipling Avenue, the road is a regular collector route for most of the newer suburban developments. It resembles as most of Vaughan's newer collecotr roads. It eventually ends as a dead end near Mapes Park, just shortly west of Arran Crescent.
History
Wooden Bridge
The current bridge spanning across the Humber River was once made of wood. This bridge eventually led to the community changing its name from Burwick into Woodbridge.
