Knott County Central High School is a high school located in Knott County, Kentucky.
It is home to the Knott County Central Patriots, who have claimed several regional titles in basketball and baseball. It is notable for its often loud, energetic, and intense pep club at basketball games. Not only it's the home of the Patriots, but also home of the famous Pirate Protectors. The new season has started. New cast member's were formed. Keeping it alive is Sean seal's and Nathan Wid Slone both boy's that attend to the school, have worked hard to keep it alive and going. With the late Jesse farler that left the school in 2008 passing on his blood line to the crew to his younger brother. The new season has started and yet to be finished. The school was founded by a consolidation of three smaller county schools: Hindman High School, Carr Creek High School (both state basketball champions), and Knott Co. high School.
The school's KHSSL speech team won the state championship in both 2004 and 2005.
