Alva Lee "Bobo" Holloman (March 7 1925 - May 1 1987) was an American right-handed pitcher in Major League Baseball for the St. Louis Browns in by|1953. Holloman pitched in just 22 games in his lone year, with three wins against seven losses. However, he pitched a no-hitter in his first major league start against the Philadelphia Athletics on May 6, 1953. He is one of two pitchers (the other being Bumpus Jones in 1892) to throw a no-hitter in his first major league start (it was his second appearance overall).

A native of Thomaston, Georgia, he died at the age of 62 in Athens, Georgia. Among his many interests outside baseball included horse racing, golf and the stock market.
