Arent Fox LLP (formerly Arent, Fox, Kintner, Plotkin & Kahn) is a large law firm and lobbying group based in Washington, D.C.. The firm has additional offices in New York City and Los Angeles, California. In 2007, the National Law Journal ranked the firm as the 137th largest in the United States based on number of attorneys. History

Henry J. Fox founded the firm in 1942. He successfully argued a case before the U.S. Supreme Court establishing the obligation of the U.S. government to pay double and premium pay to a large class of government employees who were required to work without extra pay on legal holidays during World War II. In addition to its lobbying practice, Arent Fox has substantial practices in antitrust, corporate, environmental, intellectual property, real estate, tax law, bankruptcy, international trade, corporate finance, and ERISA matters.
