Country Netherlands Province Zuid-Holland Municipality Goedereede Population (CBS 1 januari 2010) 6.040 Ouddorp (51°49′N 3°56′E / 51.817°N 3.933°E) is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Goedereede on the island Goeree-Overflakkee. The statistical area "Ouddorp", which also includes the peripheral parts of the village and the surrounding countryside (including the hamlet of Visschershoek), has a population of around 6040.[1] Religious life has also traditionally been very important to Ouddorp's inhabitants.[citation needed][original research?] The largest church is the Dorpskerk.[citation needed] Ouddorp was a separate municipality until 1966, when it became part of Goedereede.[2]
