Dion DiMucci in 1995, Kempner maintained his membership in the sporadic Dictators, toured with the The Brandos in 1993 and released his first highly acclaimed solo album, " Tenement Angels".Kempner contributed "Apache Tears" to the 2007 compilation album, "Song of America". He released his well-received, sophomore album, "Saving Grace", in July 2008. He is in the process of assembling a band for a tour. There is talk of a Del-Lords reunion, with Eric Ambel contacted to join Kempner on tour.
In Summer 2008, "Variety" said about Kempner: "If the world were a just and fair place, Scott Kempner would be stopped regularly by musicians and music fans thanking him for the effect the records he made with the Del-Lords and the Dictators had on their lives. Autumn 2008, Kempner reunited with his Dictators bandmates for a series of shows in Spain:October 1st at APOLO 2 in
Barcelona , October 2nd at NAVE 8 in Alicante, October 3rd at HEINEKEN inMadrid , and October 4th at KAFE ANTOKIA in Bilbao.External links
