No Message Attached

No Message Attached

NMA or No Message Attached signifies that the Subject of the e-mail is the actual message and there is nothing of relevance in the e-mail body. e.g. "Jo Black won't be in the office today as he is unwell - NMA"). This practice can save time for the receiver and has been recommended to increase productivity.
