Monstars

Monstars

The Monstars are a group of fictional aliens from the movie Space Jam. They first appear on Earth to capture the Looney Tunes, who their boss, Swackhammer, plans to enslave for his Moron Mountain amusement park. The Tunes convince the aliens to let them defend themselves, and challenge the short, slow aliens to a basketball game. However, the aliens sneak into a basketball game and use their unique physiology to steal the talent of five top NBA players. They then absorb the talent when called to practice by the Tunes, becoming enormous creatures with tremendous physical ability and basketball skill. To contend with them, the Tunes bring in Michael Jordan, who is retired but decides to help them out after the Monstars show up and bully the Tunes around a bit. During the big game, the Monstars are merciless, crushing the Tunes despite their old school gags. The Tunes come back briefly with the help of some water that Bugs Bunny passes off as "Secret Stuff", but are hit back even harder. The Tunes then resort to their most comical tactics, and call in the help of Bill Murray (whom Swackhammer mistakes for Dan Aykroyd). After the Monstars are defeated, they realize that their boss has been pushing them around the whole time, and rebel, sending him to the moon. They return the stolen talent, and ask if they can join the Looney Tunes.

The Monstars also have names, that they don't use in the movie for unknown reasons, but are at the end of the credits with the voices that came with each individual Monstars.

The Five Monstars names are:

*Pound: The Orange heavy set Monstar. (the leader) took Charles Barkley
*Bupkus: The Purple Monstar. (the emotional one) took Patrick Ewing
*Bang: The Green large chin, plus a flat top Monstar. (the aggressive one) Larry Johnson
*Blanko: The tall lengthy Blue Monstar. (the moronic one) Shawn Bradley
*Nawt: The Red shortest Monstar. (the tiny, Napoleonic one) Mugsy Bogues

Each Monstars name is also the names of the Nerdlucks that they are when arriving to Looney Tune Land, and at the end.
