Terry Rooney is the head baseball coach at the University of Central Florida. [ [http://ucf.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=816852 Rooney to be named UCF baseball coach] ] Rooney will replace longtime coach Jay Bergman. His first season as coach will be in 2009.

Rooney was previously an assistant coach at LSU and Notre Dame under head coach Paul Mainieri.
