Chris Christenson Personal information Full name Chris I. Christenson Country represented United States Born 1875 Skating club Twin City FSC Chris I. Christenson (born in 1875 in Norway) was an American figure skater. He and his family emigrated to the United States when he was eight years old, settling in Wisconsin and later in St. Paul, Minnesota. He began skating in 1914 at age 39. Christenson went to the national championships six times between 1920 and 1926. He won the United States Figure Skating Championships in 1926. He was 51 years old at the time of his win and he remains the oldest U.S. men's champion in history.
