DJ Bliss (born Marwan Parham on June 6, 1981) hails from the United Arab Emirates and is well known for his successful series of R&B music events and daily radio shows which he hosts himself. He was born and raised in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Marwan was the first Emirati DJ to release a personal mix of R&B tracks, called ‘The Projects’. Released on BMG Middle East’s record label, the album reached top 10 on the Virgin Megastores album chart across the Middle East.

Overview

Marwan started DJing at private events during his high school years. It was in 2001 when he obtained his first gig at a nightclub. In 2002, he started his radio career with National Radio in Dubai. In 2004 DJ Bliss made it into the top 6 (second round) of the Heineken 'Found at Thirst' DJ competition. Then finally in 2005 DJ Bliss won the coveted "No.1 DJ in the Middle East" title through the Palme DJ Of The Year competition securing a set at world-renowned Ministry of Sound London. DJ Bliss was asked to host and judge some of the heats of Thirst 2005 and 2006 in the Middle East.

Today, DJ Bliss is a resident DJ and host of several shows with GNB National Radio ONE. He hosts The Drive Show Sunday to Thursday from 4pm to 8pm and every Friday from 4pm to 7pm with his show Real Flava.

DJ Bliss is a rising star of the music industry, having performed at some of the most high-profile club nights in the UAE. DJ Bliss performs in Dubai at Boudoir every Wednesday and MIX every Thursday. He also performs in Abu Dhabi at Embassy located at The Emirates Palace Hotel every other Friday.
