Proper Music Distribution is an independent UK music distributor, specialising in (but not limited to) contemporary and catalogue Folk, Americana, World Music, Blues, Jazz and other roots-based music.

Founded in 2000 by owner Malcolm Mills, the company is based in South London and is the exclusive UK distributor for a huge number of independent record labels, including sister company Proper Records.

Nominated as one of the top five UK distributors in the 2008 Music Week Awards []
