Martin Mills

Martin Mills, born May 12, 1949, is both the founder and chairman of the Beggars Group [1].

His company is one of the world's most successful independent group of record labels.^{[citation needed]}

In 2008, the labels that currently form the Beggars Group are 4AD [2], Matador Records [3], Rough Trade Records [4] and XL Recordings [5].^[1]

Martin Mills was voted at number 22 in The Guardian's inaugural Music Power 100 list on May 26th 2011.
