Alfredo Silipigni

Alfredo Silipigni (b. Atlantic City, New Jersey, April 9, 1931; d. Livingston, New Jersey, March 25, 2006) was an American conductor. He was best known for his conducting of operas, and for his directorship of the New Jersey State Opera. He attended Westminster Choir College and the Juilliard School.

His last residence was West Orange, New Jersey. He died in Livingston, New Jersey, at the age of 74, due to complications from pneumonia. [Wakin, Daniel J.
