:"For the former British state-owned airline see British Overseas Airways Corporation"Boac is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Marinduque, Philippines. It is the capital municipality of Marinduque. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 48,504 people in 9,836 households.

* The Annual Moriones Festival is held in Boac and surrounding areas of Marinduque Island during the Lenten season. This holy celebration is famed to be one of the most colorful festivities in Marinduque and the Philippines.
* The Feast of the Patron Saint of Boac, Immaculate Concepcion every December 8.

Landmarks

*Boac Public Market It is one of the landmarks of the town situated in "Poblacion, Boac". The market comprises both dry and wet products. Transport terminals are near-distant to the said market bounding to different barangays.

*Marinduque National High School It is the "Mother School" in the island province of Marinduque. This institution is said to be a camp of Spaniards, Japanese army and even Americans during World War II. The institution continuously produces good education and one of the most intelligent students in the country.

*Boac Museum It is where some important facts and information about the island are being collected and preserved. It is located just beside the "Boac Town Plaza" and Rizal Park in "Brgy. San Miguel".

*Boac Town Plaza It is located in "Brgy. San Miguel". It is where major occasions and parties are held.

*Boac Cathedral It is the Marinduque's pilot cathedral. It is located in "Brgy. Mataas na Bayan" in Boac. It is a historical church where in the "Katipunan Flag" is said to be baptized in this cathedral. "Our Lady of Immaculate Concepcion" is the patron saint of Boac while "Birhen ng Biglang-Awa" is the patron saint of the province.

*Boac Town Arena It is where famous "senakulo", a part of the celebration of Moriones Festival is being held. It is located in "Brgy. San Miguel, Boac".

*Don Luis Hidalgo Memorial SchoolAlso known as "Boac Central School" is one of the landmarks in Boac. It is located just beside the "Marinduque National High School".

*Marinduque Provincial Capitol It is undoubtedly a landmark of the county. It is located in "Brgy. Bangbangalon" in municipality of Boac. It is near-distant to "Dr. Damian Reyes Memorial Hospital" (formerly Marinduque Provincial Hospital) and "Camp Maximo Abad".

*Boac Municipal Hall It is located in "Brgy. Tampus". Hon. Meynardo Solomon is the present Mayor of the municipality.

*Biglang-Awa Bridge It is said to be the longest bridge in the province. It connects "Brgy. Tampus" to "Brgy. Bantad", same in the municipality of Boac. Lot of people are seen here by standing watching the beautiful sunset and fascinating sceneries including the "Boac Cathedral".

*Marinduque State College It is the dominant and the only state college in the province with courses accredited by CHED and TESDA. Its main campus is situated in "Brgy. Tanza, Boac" and it has its satellite campuses in other different counties of the province.

*Boac Catholic Cemetery It is an old cemetery located in "Brgy. Santol".

*Casa Real It is an educational mini-museum situated in the former site of Rizal Park in "Brgy. San Miguel, Boac".
