- Edwin Bryant
Edwin Bryant is an
author andindologist . He received a PhD. in religion from Columbia University in 1997. He was a visiting scholar at the Center for the Study of World Religion, Harvard University, from 1997- 2000. In 2001 he was appointed Associate Professor of religion at Rutgers University, New Jersey, where he still teaches presently. Recently, in May of 2008, he taught a class on 'The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali' (a classical text outlining the core definition for achieving an enlightened state) at the New York Open Center [http://www.opencenter.org] .Bibliography
