Corcuera is a 5th class municipality in the province of Romblon, Philippines, located in the Simara Island. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 10,972 people in 2,270 households. It was named after the Spanish governor-general Sebastian Hurtado de Corcuera who ruled from 1635 to 1644.
