Beavertail Mountain Tunnel
- Beavertail Mountain Tunnel
The Beavertail Mountain Tunnel is a dual bore highway tunnel carrying Interstate 70 and US 6 through Beavertail Mountain northeast of Palisade, in Mesa County, Colorado, USA. Both the mountain and tunnel get their names from a bend in the adjacent Colorado River, which the freeway bridges just outside of both portals of the tunnel.
