Carlos Brito (b. 1960) is since 2005 the CEO of InBev, the world's second largest brewer group.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil he holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and an MBA from Stanford University business school. He held various positions in Finance, Operations, and Sales, before being appointed Chief Executive Officer in January 2004. After InBev was formed in August 2004, Brito was nominated Zone President North America.
Appointment InBev’s Chief Executive Officer in December 2005, he implemented a strategy based on cost-cutting. In 2008, he made a successful offer to take-over Anheuser-Busch, one of the world's biggest brewing companies.
