Karl Marx Peak ( _tg. Қуллаи К. Маркс) rises to 6,726 m in the Shakhdara Range in Pamir Mountains, in the south-west of Tajikistan's Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province (eastern part of Ishkoshim district), near Panj River on the border with Afghanistan.
