Crow Butte is a roll-front uranium deposit discovered in 1980. Uranium is recovered using in-situ recovery (ISR) mining methods.

Reserves
As of December 31, 2009, proven and probable reserves are 1,461,800 metric tons at an average grade of 0.13% U3O8 (4.1 million pounds U3O8) .[1]
Ownership
The Crow Butte operation is owned by Cameco Resources Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of the Canadian company, Cameco Corporation.
