Ifrán began his career with Centro Atlético Fénix, where he played between 2006 and 2008.
In July, 2010 the Uruguayan forward travelled to Spain asked by the coach of Real Sociedad Martín Lasarte a review to be done medically in the knee and this way, the Spanish club will decide whether to buy the striker or not.[1]
In August, 2010 Ifrán signed a 5 year deal with Real Sociedad.[2]
