- Cannabis use disorders
Cannabis use disorders (CUD) encompass the two distinct diagnoses of abuse and dependence, defined in the
DSM-IV by the same criteria as for other substance use disorders, according to theAmerican Psychiatric Association (APA). CUD includesneurocognitive impairments such as problems with psychomotor function,attention ,memory , andlearning which occur duringintoxication , some of which persist after a brief period ofabstinence .According to research 24.6% of all
