Biography

After he released his fourth studio album, "Lucid Intervals and Moments of Clarity" in 2000, Batio started a project to produce an album with vocals, as opposed to his mostly instrumental work of previous years. He recruited Dan Lenegar on vocals, Bill Kopecky on bass and John Mrozek on drums. The band's only album, "Call to Arms", featured Batio's signature guitar-playing style, accompanied by powerful backing musicianship, and was the first vocal album of Batio's since his time with Nitro.

Before the beginning of recording for "Hands Without Shadows" in mid-2004, Batio and C4 recorded a number of original tracks for a planned second album. The album in question was never released, simply because Batio felt that the music was not up to release standard.
