Ivo Protulipac

Ivo Protulipac was a Croatian lawyer and Catholic activist who was assassinated by Yugoslav secret police in 1946.

He served in the defence of Marko Hranilović in a show trial of the Royal Yugoslav government in 1930. [ [http://www.tomislavjonjic.iz.hr/V_9_petrinovic.html Akademikova Neuspjela Maturalna Radnja ] ]

He was president of the Association of Croatian Eagles. [http://www.cpi.hr/download/links/hr/7947.pdf Dictatorship of King Alexander and the Roman Catholic Church] ] He was subsequently imprisonned for this act and bishops Akšamović and Bonefačić were brought in by the authorities for questioning.
