The river begins in the Chelmos mountains to the north, it enters a forested then into a grassy area. The rivers enters
Lake Tsivlos where it was formed by a mudslide iin 1912 and devastated the village ofTsivlos . Its next course is a forested area and nearAkrata andAigeira . Its road linking Tsivlos and Akrata flows by it and the old and the new highways flows over including a 200 m long bridge built in the 1960s. The river empties into theGulf of Corinth west of the nowadays hotels and villas of Aigeira.About the river
