The Radebeul-Radeburg line, known locally as the "Lößnitzgrundbahn" (Lössnitz Valley Railroad), nicknamed "Lößnitzdackel" (Lößnitz Dachshund), is a RailGauge|750 gauge narrow gauge steam-hauled railway in the outskirts of
Dresden ,Germany . Primarily a tourist attraction, it maintains a year-round timetable and runs between Radebeul-Ost station on the mainDeutsche Bahn line between Dresden andMeissen and the small towns ofMoritzburg andRadeburg north of Dresden.Scheduled traffic on the line is maintained by
BVO GmbH , usingsteam locomotive s built in the 1950s. Older trains, using engines and cars built in the late 19th and early 20th century, are maintained by the non-profitTraditionsbahn Radebeul e.V. . The older trains operate on the line for special events.External links
