Bay Islands Creole is a linguistic entity of Honduras. It mainly is spoken on the Islas de la Bahia (Guanaja, Roatán, Utila).At ISO 639-2 it is counted among the linguistic entities bearing the code "cpe".According to some sources Who|date=July 2007 Bay Islands Creole belongs to the English language.Bay Islands Creole has 10,000 to 20,000 native speakers. Mainlander know this languages as "Caracol" which literally means Conch.
