Jóhann Berg Guðmundsson (born October 27, 1990) is an Icelandic football Winger & Striker, who currently plays for Breiðablik.

He was voted best player for the second third of the Icelandic premier league season in 2008.

Club career

He started his career at Breiðablik, but moved to England early in his career. He had spells with the youth team at Chelsea and Fulham before moving back to Icelandic side Breiðablik in 2008. He currently holds down a regular place in the Breiðablik side on the left flank.

International career

Gudmundsson played his first u21 game for Iceland in 2008.

In August 2008, Gudmundsson won his first cap for Icelandic in a friendly match against Azerbaijan, where he set up a goal.
