The Young American Virtuosi are three American siblings who make up a classical piano trio. Their names are
Frances Borowsky ,Emmanuel Borowsky , andElizabeth Borowsky . They were born and raised inBaltimore ,Maryland .Upbringing
The musical talents of this trio were nurtured and encouraged under the guidance of their parents, Charles Borowsky and
Cecylia Barczyk . Charles is a social scientist, however he has been active in furthering his children's careers. He also plays the harmonica and sings, and occasionally performs together with his family. Cecylia is a professional cellist. Frances, Emmanuel, and Elizabeth each began music lessons at the age of four.Career Highlights
In 2004 they jointly received the Erick Friedman Prize for Outstanding Young Musicians and performed their New York debut at Carnegie Hall. They have performed as soloists and as a trio throughout North America, Asia, Middle East, and Europe. They have recorded for ICRecords, including Pearls of Music (1999) and Musical Favorites of All Times (2004). In 2008 they performed Pre-Olympic concerts in China under the theme, “Great Harmony: One World, One Dream, One Family.”

Frances Borowsky has performed in Israel, Jordan, Indonesia, Japan, China, Vietnam, Singapore, Germany, Poland, Scandinavia, Canada, and the USA. She studies under the guidance of her mother and has been mentored by other cellists, including Janos Starker.Emmanuel Borowsky ( has since performed recitals and concerts throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East and has frequently been featured on television and radio programs. Among his teachers have been Jaime Laredo, Zoltan Szabo, Dorothy DeLay, Erick Friedman, Gudny Gudmundsdotir, and Mark Kaplan.Elizabeth Borowsky has performed in North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. She is the recipient of the International Young Artists Award, Heidelberg Grand Prix, United States Chopin Foundation Scholarship, Pro Sinfonika Award for Promoting Classical Music Among Youth, Jerusalem Medal for Composition, and National Foundation for the Arts Merit Award, among others.From the Press
