Lithium ion capacitor

A lithium ion capacitor is an ultracapacitor whose energy density is increased significantly through the use of a Li-ion occlusive carbon material on its negative electrode. Their characteristics combine the low resistance / high current capacity of a capacitor with the energy density of a Li-ion battery.
