Consall Forge Pottery

The Consall Forge Pottery studio is located alongside the Caldon Canal at Consall Forge just past the village of Consall, Staffordshire. This studio pottery was established in 1983, and is in a rural area near the RSPB Coombes Valley Reserve.

The studio produces a range of domestic stoneware specialising in teapots. All pieces are raw glazed and fired to a temperature of 1280c in propane-fuelled kilns. The kiln currently in use is approximately 1.5 cubic metres in size and was built in 2002, having a catenary arch and two large burners operating on a downdraught system.
