Vredestein Banden B.V. is a Dutch manufacturer of tires for cars, commercial vehicles, tractors and bicycles. The company is independent of other large tire manufacturers and describes itself as "middle-sized". The corporate slogan is "Designed To Protect You". The company is renowned for its close cooperation with the famous Giugiaro Design studio, which designs all Vredestein tires in the high segments of the tire market (e.g. high performance summer and winter tires). Vredestein was bought in to Russian company by Amtel to become Amtel-Vredestein.

The primary factory is at Enschede, The Netherlands, while other products like agricultural tyres and bicycle tires are manufactured overseas (e.g. India, Thailand, Indonesia).

Vredestein bicycle tyres are becoming quite popular Fact|date=September 2008 compared to traditional brands such as Michelin and Continental, especially for road use. Their premium Fortezza TriComp racing tyre for clincher rims is capable of running at pressures approaching that of a tubular tyre. The Vredestein Sprint Classic line is developed for classic cars, using the latest technology in a period design.
