Social Activities

Parasia has a non-government organization "Lions Club" and recently launched their charitable "Lions Eye Hospital" to support for unprivileged people. Club was chartered here in 1987, is affiliated to Lions Clubs International. It is led by a group of highly educated natives of Parasia. They are currently working to eliminate Blindness, Eye Care and educate poor children (through a tie-up with Many government Schools) and are aiming to support old and helpless citizens by started an Programme "Daridya Narayana Bhoj" in which Club Provides Daily Feed to 70–80 elderly. Lions Club Parasia Chandametta, Club's Main Project is Eye donation and mission is to bring Eye care of International standard within the reach of every individual. The name of this club is taken with respect in all Over India. The Members Of this Club are committed to the achievement and maintenance of excellence in education, research and eye care for the benefit of Humanity.” Lions club Parasia is family Of 70 Members Including Leo Club and Lioness club.[2]

Leo Club

Leo Club Parasia Chandametta is youth Team Of Lions club Parasia Chandametta. Which sponsored and hosted by Lions club Parasia Leo club Parasia was inaugurated at Parasia in 1991 and since its inception developed many leaders. The word L E O stands for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity. Leo Club encourage youth to develop leadership qualities by participating in social service activities. Leo Club members are addressed as "Leos." They conduct various projects in the fields of health care, elders, children, differently abled, literacy and education, and self-development. Leos can raise funds by conducting fund-raising projects Like Leo Mela, Boogie woogie.[3]
