County Route 35 is a county highway located in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

Route description

County Route 35 consists of North Main Street in Farmingdale and Colts Neck Road in Howell Township, beginning at Main Street (CR 524) in Farmingdale and extending north 1.82 miles to New Jersey Route 33 in Howell. History

County Route 35 formerly extended north beyond New Jersey Route 33 to New Jersey Route 34 in Colts Neck Township. Its original length was 3.0 miles. With the construction in 1943 of Naval Weapons Station Earle, the northern section was cut off, leaving CR 35 a dead end to the north and south of the base. The Howell Township portion north of Route 33 was decommissioned on November 21, 1967 [Resolution, Monmouth County Board of Chosen Freeholders, November 21, 1967] , and the Colts Neck portion south of Route 34 was decommissioned on December 20, 1981.
