Lady Bardales

Lady Bardales (born 1982) is a Peruvian policewoman who worked for former president Alejandro Toledo in 2005 [http://www.deccanherald.com/deccanherald/may212005/foreign1834142005520.asp] . She is a lieutenant in the Peruvian National Police, and was at some point assigned to provide protection for President Toledo's wife.

Lady Bardales was for months a fugitive of justice, as she was sentenced for illegal enrichment but failed to show up at court. As of July 2, 2008, she gave in to the authorities.
