Stoneykirk is a small village in Dumfries and Galloway, south west Scotland. It sits in the heart of the Rhins of Galloway, 5 miles south of Stranraer. The the A716 runs through part of the village. The village developed around the village's church (now disused), with a number of small cottages. The main industry in the village was agricultural based.

The village had a school situated on St Stephen's Terrace. It has recently be converted into flats. The village is located nearby to RAF West Freugh. The village lends it's name to the Church of Scotland parish of Stoneykirk, although the village no longer hosts a working church.
