Alasho

Alasho is the enigmatic Tuareg blue indigo veil or turban.It mostly used for an important occasion or ceremony, ritual of passage to the adult age, matrimony or inauguration of a tribal leader. Alasho veil is made in Kano, centuries ago a Tuareg market, today an important city in northern Nigeria.
