History

*August 11, 1927: Opened as nihongo|Kuji-Bairin Stop|久地梅林停車場|Kuji-Bairin-Teishajo.
*April 16, 1942: The stop was raised to a station.
*April 1, 1944: Along with nationalization of Nambu Railway, the station became Kuji Station of JNR Nambu Line.
*April 1, 1987: Along with privatization and division of JNR, East Japan Railway Company started operating the station.
