Cardona is a 3rd class urban municipality in the province of Rizal, Philippines. According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 44,942 inhabitants ("39,003 people in 7,953 households in census 2000").

Built up area

With the continuous expansion of Metro Manila, the city is now included in Manila built up area which reaches Cardona in its Westernmost part.

Cardona is politically subdivided into 18 barangays.
