The Kamppi metro station (Finnish "Kampin metroasema" / Swedish "Metrostationen Kampen") is a station on the
Helsinki Metro . In addition to serving the area aroundKamppi in centralHelsinki , the station is integrated with theKamppi Center bus terminal and shopping complex.The station was opened on
1 March 1983 , designed byEero Hyvämäki ,Jukka Karhunen , andRisto Parkkinen . It is located at a distance of approximately 1.169kilometre s from theRuoholahti metro station , and 0.487 kilometres from the Central Railway Station. The station is the deepest of the Helsinki Metro stations, at a depth of 30metre s below ground level (15m belowsea level ).A new eastern entrance, connecting directly to
