Midland Railway, Butterley

The Midland Railway, is a Standard Gauge heritage railway line located within the Midland Railway Centre in Butterley, Derbyshire. The railway operates over a stretch of line between Hammersmith and Riddings, although no physical station exists at the latter. There are intermediate stations at Butterley and Swanwick. There is a large depot facility at Swanwick along with a narrow gauge railway and a short industrial branch which is owned by the railway but does not see regular use at present.
