The Firm, Inc.

The Firm is an artist and talent management company located in Beverly Hills, California in the United States.

Founded in 1997 by Jeff Kwatinetz (pronounced QUAT-nits) and partner Michael Green (who has since left the company), The Firm also has had, at various times, divisions devoted to TV and film production, brand management, apparel licensing, beverages, video games and recording. Its music clients have included Kelly Clarkson, Korn, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Dixie Chicks, Linkin Park, Jennifer Lopez, Audioslave and Limp Bizkit. In 2002 it purchased Michael Ovitz's failed Artist Management Group for a reported $12.7 million. In 2004, The Firm acquired entertainment consulting company Integrated Entertainment Partners (IEP), led by Rich Frank, a former president of Disney studios. Kwatinetz is reported by "Money", to have been the "the driving force behind a deal in which EMI and Live Nation--the country's biggest concert promoter - paid Korn $27 million to create a separate corporation that oversees and shares in the profits from sales of the band's records, concert tickets, and merchandise."
