Pentel PD345

The Pentel PD345 is a mechanical pencil. It was produced by Pentel in the 1990's, and is presently widely discontinued but available online. Design features include the fact that the lead advance button is on the side of the pencil body; the housing can hold dozens of refill lead sticks at once; the body of the pencil is transparent; and the eraser is relatively wide, allowing for heavy erasing.

The successor to this pencil is the PD345-A, which has a wider, "ergonomic" grip and the tip of the pencil was modified so that the lead would not break as easily.
