Banten village

; : The 59-year-old leader of the Iga clan and the Kairōshū who serves as a political critic in the front world. His ideal, which is to change history and achieve equality among humans with the Shinrabanshou, fascinates and wins the loyalty of many subordinates, for example Yukimi and Raikō. Hattori's also known to have taken in many outcasts, such as Yukimi, Kazuho, Raikō and later Yoite, and offered them a place inside Kairōshū. Despite this apparent kindness, Hattori has little qualms about eliminating whoever opposes him, which is shown when he ordered the Kasa to dispose of Yoite, who went against his order and ran away with Miharu.

; :A 16-year-old ninja in the Kairōshū who uses the Iga's hijutsu forbidden technique "Kira". This technique shoots the user's ki into the body of a target and controls it from the inside out, which can cause the target's bones to break or their body to completely explode. The cost of using this technique is the loss of the user's life force, gradually losing their five senses and eventually dying. According to volume 4, he has roughly two more months to live. In anime version, he has a few months to live.

:Yoite and Miharu first met at Fuuma's village, where Yoite was assigned to to retrieve Fuuma's kinjutsushō, and nearly killed all of the Banten ninjas who were with Miharu when they came to Fuuma's defence. He slowly begins to form a bond with Miharu after a promise that the two made to each other: by using the Shinrabanshou, Miharu would erase Yoite's existence (which he held in disregard, thinking of himself as being "not alive") and in turn, Yoite would make Miharu the ruler of Nabari. To ensure Miharu's loyalty to his words, Yoite threatened to kill Miharu's Banten friends with the Kira fragments shot into them earlier. This later turned out to be an empty threat when in chapter 47, Yoite confessed to having lied to Miharu about the Kira fragments. As their bond deepens, Yoite becomes more and more protective of Miharu, and even shows rebellious sign against Hattori whenever he appears to be harming Miharu. Their conflict reached its climax when in chapter 44, Hattori persuaded Miharu not to grant Yoite's wish and mentally attacked Yoite, who showed up out of concern for Miharu. In retaliation, Yoite fired Kira at Hattori and demanded the three kinjutsushōs in Hattori's possession, to which Hattori answered with the summon of two Kasa assassins, Makoto & Itsuwari. They continued evading the assassins in their escape to Banten, but Miharu was finally captured at Hanabusa's house by Hyoka, another Kasa member. Yoite then joined hand with Kouichi and Shijima to rescue Miharu, and succeeded just as the lethal side effects of Kira began to take toll . Before he died, Yoite thanked Miharu for having stayed with him, and expressing the wish to not have Miharu heartbroken over his loss and be happy in the future, asked Miharu to erase him. He perished before the Shinrabanshō could be used, however due to its effect everyone's memories concerning him vanished after this incident.

:Before he came to Kairōshū, Yoite's name was Sora. He was born a hermaphrodite whose mother died giving birth to him. Yoite grew up unsure of his existence, being shunned by his parents who called him a death god and went to great length to deny their son's existence, which included confining him in a basement most of the time and forbidding his half-brother, Koudou Tsukasa, to get close to him. When Yoite turned 14, the family decided to kill him by slashing his throat and then (unsuccessfully) forced a frightened Tsukasa to follow suit. Yoite ran away from the house and was saved by Hattori, who took him into Kairōshū. Yoite ended up spending a year studying the Kira technique and all required ninja skills after Hattori promised it would bring him closer to his goal of being erased (a desire conceived after the attempt on his life), and Hattori put him under Yukimi's care, who gave him the name Yoite.
